This paper aims to analyze Don DeLillo"s White Noise in the light of the rhetoric of image. As a writer living in the mass media and the image cultures, DeLillo sheds light on the power of the images and the nature of mass media. White Noise is a portrayal of the world in which the reality is imbued with media images. What DeLillo strongly claims is that we can not help living with images. Today, media images besides speech also communicate persuasive meanings by using of rhetorical strategy. This is why media images can be linked with the rhetoric.
