This paper is concerned with the problem of robust H<SUB>∞</SUB> stabilization for networked control systems(NCSs) with both network-induced delay and packet drop out. To obtain a robust H<SUB>∞</SUB> stability criterion with the reduced con-servatism, first, this paper presents a useful approach that can non-conservatively represent some time-varying terms encountered in the analysis and synthesis of controllers. Then, based on the obtained stability criterion, this paper pro-poses an improved H<SUB>∞</SUB> stabilization condition under consideration of norm-bounded uncertainty. A numerical example is exploited to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed conditions.
