Yun Seok-jung’s works have been recognized as depicting naive innocence of children unrelated to the reality. However, in terms of expression of father complex, his nursery songs are literature very closely related to the reality. He has embodied children who desire to be “a small father” in his works. “A small father” has a meaning as an existence that realizes public values of the society, country, and nation. However, this small father in his works has an obvious limit of another outcome symbolizing our crippled modern times.
