The purpose of this study is to examine current peer feedback studies in a Korean EFL writing context in order to disclose their research aspects and findings and pinpoint peer feedback practices implemented in the studies. Since peer feedback studies are conducted in a pedagogical context, each feedback practice needs to be addressed to highlight pedagogically useful ones. This study thoroughly reviewed 32 research articles from 12 journals where peer response was studied in an Korean EFL writing context, focusing on research orientations, research outcomes, research types, and feedback implementations. The findings of this literature review study indicated that there were many different research orientations, in spite of the increasing tendency of online peer feedback; different research methods were utilized to conduct the studies; and some peer feedback practices were practically and systematically designed.
