The purpose of this study is to provide amount of taekwondo poomsae for black belts. For this study, 12 males of elite Poomsae athletes of K university were involved and measured physiological responses. Measurement variables are performing time, pace, HR, V02, carbohydrate oxidation rate(COR) and fat oxidation rate(FOR). Exercise intensity and energy expenditure were measured by VmaxST and Polar-system during Poomsae performed. Conclusions were drawn as follow;
1) Among 6 black belts Poomsae, Sipjin was identified as Poomsae taking longest performance time with 85.2±4.4seconds, and Taebaek as fastest performance speed with 0.62motion/sec. Also, Pyeongwon was recorded as the highest kicking motion ratio of upperㅡlower body action average of 11.5%,
2) In performed once, Goryo was identified as highest heart rate scores with 128.9±9.1 beat/min and also in VO<SUB>2</SUB> with 26.3±2.8ml/kg/min.
3) On the average, in 10 consecutively times, the mean of HR was 179.5±20.1beat/min, and mean of VO<SUB>2</SUB> was identified 45.3±9.0ml/kg/min. 4) On the average, in 10 continuos times, the mean of amount of carbohydrate was measured with 94.5±27.1g/h, and the average of quantity of fat was investigated with 28.5±7.4g/h.
Thus people can train poomsae for their health by controlling repeated times or training times.
