Recently in many athletic events, the effects of mixed training to enhance performances are proven. Thus, this study, in order to verify the effects of mixed training with kinematic variables in 100 m acceleration zone, after applying mixed training that consists of weight training, plyometric training, power training and skill training to the domestic elite sprinters (n=12) for 4 weeks, the effects after that was observed, and the results were compared and analyzed to the data of the world’s top ten sprinters (n=8). Conclusions obtained through this study were: first, the 100m records of the Korean sprinters were enhanced by approximately 0.243 sec.; their speed factor increased in the zones of 10-30 m and 30-40 m, and their contact time and flight time were decreased, which turned out to be positive results. Second, for step length factor, the foreign sprinters’ step length was remarkably longer than the Korean sprinters’,however, for normalized step length by height, there was no significant difference up to the first 20 m zone. However, in a post measurement, the Korean sprinters’ step length was remarkably shorter than the foreign sprinters’ and even shorted than the pre-measurement Third, for step rates factor, after applying the training program, in 0-20 m zone, the Korean sprinters step rates were higher than the foreign sprinters step rates. However, the step rates in 20-40 m zone got higher than prior to applying the training program, but compared to the foreign sprinters, their step rates turned out to get lower. Thus, the mixed training applied in this study had positive impacts on zone speed and step rates through the enhancement of muscular strength while their step length got shorter than prior to the training.
