This experimental and theoretical study is concerned about the characteristics of vortex flow in a annulus which diameter ratio is 0.7, that the outer cylinder is stationary and inner pipe is rotating.
In this study, pressure losses and skin friction coefficients have been measured for fully devoloped flows of water when the ininer cylinder rotates at the speed of 0~400rpm. The results of study shows the relation of Reynolds number with the skin friction coefficients.
