The objective in here is focused on expecting of elasticity and shear modulus for a honeycomb structure made by diamond truss wall. The model simulation of the honeycomb structure is based on by CATIA v5. For the structure, fundamental structure is solid wall honeycomb model which is made by AL5052 H34. Applied material for the structure is a type 304 stainless steel wire cloth which is having a woven type as 0.17mm diameter included with 0.68mm aperture. Therefore, expected elastic modulus for the structure. L-direction shear modulus, and W-direction shear modulus are 4.5GPa, 3.3GPa,, and 2.05GPa respectively. In addition, the differences between the ideal solution and simulated results are 5.8%, 0.3%, and 0% separately.
