The purpose of the study was to make a quantitative inquiry into influence of diverse factors related to old people’s acceptant attitude of death, assuming that very complicated and diverse social and mental factors would have an effec on their death acceptance. The study analyzed total 372 samples with men and women of more than 65years old who participated in rhythmic exercise and lived Seoul, Gyeonggido and Chungcheondo. The study carried out one way of ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, Out of individual characteristics, age, pocket money, living together with their children and religion had a significant difference on their acceptant attitude of death. Second, in participation in rhythmic exercise, participation frequency and participation time a sub factor of participation in rhythmic exercise, had and effect on we-ness. Third, participation in rhythmic exercise had an effect on anxiety after death, a sub factor of acceptant attitude of death. Forth, we-ness had an effect on anxiety after death, quiescence of existence and anxiety of forfeiture a sub factor of acceptant attitude of death.
