This study aims to analyze the impact of purchasing barriers for female college students on their intention of spectating professional soccer games in Korea(K-League). To conduct this study, a survey was performed for 464 female college students residing in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungnam, and Busan using a convenience sampling method. 36 copies were excluded by data screening. Therefore, a total of 428 collected questionnaires were used for the final analysis. The purchasing barriers were categorized into four components such as facility barrier, product barrier, price barrier, and alternative product barrier. And, 15 questions included in these four components were used to measure them. The statistical methods used to analyze the data included t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and multiple regression analysis, and their results are as follows. First, between the female college students with different majors, there was a statistically significant difference in the purchasing barrier and their intention of spectating games. Second, between students in different grades, there was a statistically significant difference in the facility and price barriers perceived by them and their intention of spectating games. Third, among the purchasing barriers, the barriers related to product and alternative products had an impact on the female college students’ intention of spectating professional soccer games.
