Multicultural families has increased along with the increase in international marriage in Korea. As a married immigrant, the acquisition of nationality as the basis of the establishment of a stable home is the most important challenges. The most basic problem for immigrant substantially as a member of our society to live is the acquisition of nationality. But in rural areas than in urban areas, the case of the acquisition of nationality is relatively low. Multicultural members feel the need for the acquisition of nationality. However, this can be attributed to accessibility information for acquisition of nationality is relatively rural areas than in urban areas falling. Therefore, only look at the aspects of the acquisition of nationality, the acquisition of nationality in urban areas must provide information on how to obtain publicity and should be more active. Moreover, by country of origin of multicultural families look at when most of Immigrant Women from Southeast Asian countries, including China Mindful of that, there are many security measures are necessary.
But Immigrant to acquire a nationality is not only easy. In reality, the time and cost of the problem is making it difficult to acquire a nationality and legally burdens difficult task for them. There is a need to provide an alternative members of multicultural families to acquire a nationality and the practical difficulties of institutional · legal difficulties and ways to improve the legal dimension. Based on this, There is a need for research about acquiring nationality and Nationality Act and the Immigration Control Act, issues of law and its Improvement.
