This article examines only part of ‘Culture Project(文化工程)’ in several forms of A ‘bi?n ji?ng’ policy since Northeast Project(東北工程), and considers its content, promoted backgroud, and strategic aspects. In addition, Culture Project will act as big variable in the flow of international politics in the future.
Recently, An issue the Great Wall of China and a UNESCO World Heritage site caused controversy between korea and china. these action originated with the ‘bi?n ji?ng (?疆)’ policy of North-eastern China. A problem which completes a boundary problem and neighboring country issue, and which promotes stability of a border area is a main pending issue of a ‘bi?n ji?ng’ policy. Ultimately, A ‘bi?n ji?ng’ policy has many relevance. A stability and prosperity of a border area is just a peace and development of china.
A ‘bi?n ji?ng’ policy of North-eastern China will attempt to realign its history and culture and to make Sinicize. Chinese strategy on its history and heritage is as follows.
Firstly, china is to advertise a chinese history-culture by reorganizing a korea race’ history-culture of North-eastern China.
Secondly, china make historic sites of Koguryeo and Balhae and cultural heritage of ‘Chosun Race’ in North-eastern China into a museum, sell tour packages linked with them.
Thirdly, china gains the brand-culture to enhance the value of a ‘Culture Products (contents)’ by developing an important intangible cultural heritage.
Fourthly, china has a political-strategic groundwork to separate Chosun Race from korean’ culture identity, and to cut-off correlation of Chosun Race in North-eastern China and the Korean Peninsula through acquire of traditional culture and public relations.
In the end, the unified multiracial nation which China puts forward is still expanding an tangible cultural heritage as well as a culture and art of all races in china today. The expansion of a traditional culture of a minority race also tried to incorporate into Zh?nghuaMinzu(中?民族)
