The purpose of this study was to identify non physical major student’s image of physical education major student’ image. The Q-methodology with a 40 Q sample was used to investigate and analyze of the physical education major student’ image. The subjects were 54 non physical education major university students in Gangwon province. And the data were collected by means of interviews. The analysis revealed 4 types of image perception. The four types were labeled “intellectual/professional type”, “human nature/responsibility type”, “specific/expression type”, and “individualism type”. It was recommended that intervention strategies for non physical education major students’ image perception type should be based on these four types.
