This study analyzes the influences of urban-rural integrations to cities where administrative districts were reorganized in the past by the integration type and the period. According to the empirical result, differences of all variables are found between before and after urban-rural integrations. Especially the investment expenditure and the financial dependance are the variables with higher average change rate than other variables" between before and after urban-rural integrations. In addition, the analysis result by adding the period variable to the regression model shows that changes in investment expenditures due to urban-rural integrations are influential for short-term periods, but, effects of the expenditures are diluted for long-term periods due to individual regions" change courses.
The result of this study is available to predict the change effect of investment expenditure and also suggests that, since influential factors on the expansion of investment expenditure for each type differ, the reorganization of administrative district that enables changes of significant variables of each type should be established considering the classification based on the existing spatial criteria and the functional aspects to improve the effect of urban-rural integration.
