The theology of Karl Barth is a starting point of modern theology and a big mountain to clime to understand contemporary theologies. There have been many books and articles about the theology and thoughts of Barth. However, the theology of Barth is still an important source of theology for our time. It is also true that there are many studies on the christology of Barth. The purpose of this article is to provide a new view on the christology of Barth. This article will pay attention on three aspects: Firstly, this article will describe diverse ways to approach Barth’s christology. Secondly, I will deal with some features of Barth’s Christology which I call ‘dialectical christology’. Thirdly, I will concentrate on the figure of Jesus Christ as the ‘reconciler’.
