This research was to explore the priority order of spectators motivations in professional baseball games and thus, provide fundamental information for professional baseball teams’ marketing. For this purpose, the Delphi survey was carried out by five gurus and an hierarchy structure was established with agreed survey questions in the third round. Based on this, pair-wise comparison questionnaires were developed. The research targeted spectators in the stadiums of Kwang-ju, Dea-jeon, Seoul, In-chon. Through a consistency test, samples with the lack of reliability were excluded and SPSS WIN Ver. 18.0, Expert Choice 2000 and Microsoft Office Excel 2007 were used for data process. The following results came from the research.
The priority order in evaluation field was a game factor, psychology factor, society factor and event factor. A Winning of Support team and a dramatic factor in the game factor among evaluation items, extrication from a routine life and team affection in the psychology factor, sense of belonging in the society factor, and culture of cheering in the event factor were occupied in a top rank.
