본 연구는 유아체육 전문기관의 아기스포츠단 참여자들에 대한 참여동기와 만족도를 알아봄으로써 유아의 신체활동 지도에 도움을 줄 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 유아체육 전문기관의 운영을 고찰해보고 발전적인 방향을 제시해 보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 구체적으로 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 참여지역, 부모의 강조점, 참여기간에 따라 YWCA 아기스포츠단 참여동기에 차이가 있을 것이다. 둘째, 참여지역, 참여기간에 따라 YWCA 아기 스포츠단 만족도에 차이가 있을 것이다. 본 연구의 대상은 2002년 서울 YMCA 소속 5개 지회를 모집단으로 설정하였다. 조사기간은 2002년 9월2일부터 9월28일까지였으며 연구방법은 설문지법을 사용하였다. 회수된 총 설문지는 322부였고 부적절한 것을 제외한 300부가 자료로 사용되었다. 연구문항 중 아기스포츠단 만족도는 요인분석을 실시하였으며 신뢰도는 (a= .875~.580)로 나타났다. 자료처리는 교차분석과 일원분산분석(One-way ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 사후 검정은 Scheffe방법을 사용하였으며 모든 통계치의 유의수준은 a= .05로 설정하였다. 연구결과, 참여지역, 부모의 강조점, 참여기간에 따른 YWCA 아기스포츠단의 참여동기를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 참여 기역에 따른 YMCA 아기스포츠단의 참여동기는 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 둘째, 부모의 참여 강조점에 따른 YMCA 아기스포츠단 참여동기는 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 참여기간에 따른 YMCA 아기스포츠단 참여동기는 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 참여지역과 참여기간에 따른 YMCA 아기스포츠단의 만족도에 대한 연구결과 첫째, 참여지역에 따른 YMCA 아기스포츠단 만족도는 시설, 지도자, 프로그램 만족도 모두 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 둘째, 참여기간에 대한 YMCA 아기스포츠단 만족도는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다.

The purpose of this study is to provide some basic data which will help to guide the Pre-school children`s Sports Program, while suggesting some good directions which may develop such activities, based on the motive and satisfaction of some childrens, researched in this study, who are participating in the sport-activities of the Re-school children`s Sports Program of the children-sports-specializing agency, after having generally investigated and reviewed the operation of the baby-sports-specializing agency. In order to achieve it, in the first place, two hypotheses were set as follows: First, the motive of participating in YWCA`s Pre-school children s Sports Program will differ according to the area where children`s participate in the group s sport activities, the points the children`s parents emphasize or prefer, and the period how long they participate in such activities. Second, the satisfaction in participating in YWCA`s Re-school children`s Sports Program will differ according to the area where children`s participate in the group`s sport activities and the period how long they participate in such activities. In order to find out answers for the set hypotheses, 5 branches belonged to Seoul YWCA in 2002 were set as a matrix group ; investigation started from September 2 to September 28,2002; some necessary data were collected by means of some questionnaire; and so, total 322 sets of questionnaire were collected; then only 300 sets of questionnaires were used for necessary data since other 22 sets were improper. From the data, actually the answers to questioning item, the factors of satisfaction were analytically studied; and the degree of reliance appeared as a=.875-.560. Data process was done by Cross Analysis and One-way ANOVA. Scheffe Method was used for the `after the fact` test. And the significant level of all the statistical values was set as a=0.5. In the result of this study, regarding the motive of participating in YWCA`s Pre-school children`s Sports Program; first, according to the area where childrens participate in the group`s sport activities, their motive significantly differed; second, according to the points the children s parents emphasize or prefer, their motive significantly differed; and according to the period how long they Participate in such activities, their motive did not significantly differ. And regarding the satisfaction in participating in YWCA`s Pre-school children`s Sports Program group; first, according to the area where childrens participate in the group`s sport activities, their satisfaction significantly differed in terms of facilities, sport leader or guider, and program; and according to the period how long they participate in such activities, their satisfaction did not significantly differ.
