The purposes of this study were to inform teachers, parents of students and educational administrators of the necessity for the sport involvement of elementary school students, and to provide thin with the basic data necessary to compose the sport involvement program far students, which is helpful to delightful school life and perfect social life. For these proposes, the factors were examined, which have important influence on the sport involvement, the sport involvement obstacles and the friendship of elementary school students, and the differences in each variable were verified Also, 720 subjects were selected, who were fifth and sixth grade students of elementary school, with simple random sampling, and data were collected through the questionnaires based on the prior study. The collected data were analysed with ANOVA program The results of this study were as follows: (1) In concrete factors which influence the sport involvement of elementary school students, boy students was better than girl students and students who have five family members was better than others. Also, the sport involvement was better in proportion to living conditions and school work results of the students, and their residence, especially apartment. (2) The factors which influence the sport involvement obstacles of elementary school students, were the economical obstacle in boy students, the individual obstacle in girl students, the economical obstacle and the leisure time obstacle in the family which has less than 4 members, the leisure time obstacle in students who live in higher standard of living or have good school work result, the economical obstacle in students who live in lower standard of living or have bad school work result, and the leisure time obstacle in students who live in apartments. (3) In the friendship of elementary school students according to the sport involvement, similarity and reciprocity was high in students who have behavioral involvement, and propinquity, similarity and reciprocity was high in students who have cognitive involvement (4) In the friendship of elementary school students according to the sport involvement obstacles, propinquity, similarity and reciprocity was high in students who have the high leisure time obstacle, propinquity, similarity and status was high in students who have the high economical obstacle, propinquity and status was high in students who have the high individual obstacle, and propinquity; similarity and status was high in students who have the high family and social obstacles.
