In this paper, vocabulary indicating new objects and concepts that emerged in the early 20th century in “Neologism Dictionary” is analyzed. “Neologism Dictionary” conatains just Sino-Korean words and loan words. The reseult of analysis leads to show the characteristics of Modern Neologism in Korean. Although it contains only 730 words as headword, it features a comprehensive interpretation of each item and serves as a good source for determining the usage of Korean vocabulary for each period. This research outlined the macro and micro structure of the dictionary and assessed its value. Each items and their interpretations are analyzed and also compared with the dictionary published recently. The result of this paper will be applied for expanding the micro structure of dictionary.
