This paper proposes a network-oriented software architecture design using Odin Studio, which is an AUTOSAR tool implementing AUTOSAR methodology, for AUTOSAR application developers. Domestic OEM provides network design data which specify inter-ECU communication to suppliers without software architecture. However, on supplier’s side, software architecture is necessary for designing software components. In this paper, we introduce three steps of designing software architecture from imported DBC data file. Odin supports overall steps of the design by creating elements and configuring them automatically. Using this network-oriented software architecture, AUTOSAR application developers can reduce their configuration errors and implement their application effectively.
