rpose of this study was to analyze on the coach’s expertise perceived by Taekwondo athletes. To achieve the purpose, the open-ended questions materials were collected from 289 Taekwondo athletes in Korea Taekwondo Association. The collected materials were analyzed by using inductive area analysis and then compared with categorized contents. The result of analysis of the collected materials is as follows. First, there are athlete coaching, athlete management and self-management in coach’s expert perceived by Teakwondo athletes. There are athlete analysis, training coaching, competition operation and training and atmosphere Building in the Taekwondo coach’s athlete coaching. There are psychological management, physical management, conditioning management and life management in the Taekwondo coach’s athlete management. There are personality management, psychological management, self-development and study and interpersonal relationship in the Taekwondo coach’s self-management. Second, there is a difference in coach’s expert according to Teakwondo athletes’ gender. There is no difference in coach’s athlete coaching and self-management. But there is a difference in the Taekwondo coach’"s athlete management. Third, there is a difference in coach’s expert according to Teakwondo athletes’ team. There is no difference in coach’s athlete coaching and athlete management. But there is a difference in coach’s self-management.
