The purpose of this study is to examine the present situation of budget made up for `Sport for All` promotion of our country, review its reasonableness and then propose its problems and reform measuree. The summary of this study is as follows. 1. The budget of the Ministry of Culture and Sport is a poor 0.1 percentage level of the total one of government, and the budget for national sport promotion is no more than 4 percentage of that of the Ministry of Culture and Sport. 2. The supply fund, for `Sport for All`, of the national subsiby of Korea Amateur Sport Association is at present a poor 0.4 percentage level. 3. Seoul Olympic Sport Promotion Foundation, which is operated losely, tends to waste its budget in holding events not corresponding to Sport promotion. 4. The National Council of `Sport for All`. which has a poor budget, mostly depends on national supporting fund. 5. The budget of Korea Sport Science Institute relies on national subsidy and promotion fund. It does research activities mainly for the improvement of game competence, but its business for `Sport for All` promotion is very poor. 6. The five-year plan for national Sport promotion will place a central focus on `Sport for All`, not elite soprt. But it is inevitable to secure finance to do so. As mentioned above, I think that, for Korean `Sport for All` promotion, it is most necessary to secure sport finance and make up its budget resonably.
