This study is conducted to examine the correlation of the dancing activity pattern with the degree of dancers` fascination in dancing based on their home background. To do so, I have developed hypothetical regression model with the dancers` home background and their degree of fascination in dancing, then I have analysed the relationship between each variables. The sampling target is female students majoring in dancing at the university located in Tae Jun city and Chung Cheng Nam province as of 1999. The questionnaires have been distributed and 259 valid samples were established. SPSS 9.0 - a statistical program - has been used to do the hypothetical test and to run multi linear regression and pass-analysis, and the following results have been produced. First, there are differences in the dancing activity patterns along with each home background. Second, the variables of schooling and brothers` and sisters` experiences in the home background category and the variables of the number of lessons per month, the number of practice per month and the number of days seeing a performance in the dancing activity patterns category are closely related with the degree of fascination in dancing. Third, it is shown that the accomplishment factor influences more in the degree of fascination in dancing than belonged factor.
