The purpose of this study was to investigate the physical fitness change by participating or not taking part in regular curriculum of physical education in woman commercial high school. The subjects of present study were woman commercial high school girls(n=101). According to the course of study of the Ministry of Education, the subjects must be divided into two class, the one class(n=50) could be received the regular physical education twice per week during the first semester, but the other class(n=51) could not be received any kind of physical education program during the same period. The measurement items were 100m sprinting, sit-up, standing long jump and 1200m run. Measurement was carried out during the initial semester and during the terminal semester. The results were as follows: First, the initial physical fitness levels of the class that was received the opportunity of regular physical education instruction were elevated significantly after the semester(p<.01). Second, the difference between the initial physical fitness level and the terminal physical fitness level of the class that was not received the opportunity of regular physical education instruction was not significant(p>.05). These results suggest the fact that if the woman high school girls were not received the opportunity of regular physical education instruction there would not be any significant elevation in physical fitness and that it is necessary for high girls to participate in regular physical education curriculum and that irregular management of physical education in woman high school should not be permitted. These efforts will make high school`s girls to understand the exercise`s various values and guide them to do lifelong exercise. National health level and national competition capacity will be elevated. Therefore, we must be prudent in devising and operating the physical education curriculum related to the younger generation.
