This research aims to study the impact of sports stars`image on teenagers attitudes toward sports, so as research subjects selected 469 students of middle and high schools located in C province and D metropolitan city, and as a research tool used a questionnaire corrected and complemented through a preliminary survey, which had been used in the research of Pyo Young-Hee(1991), Kim Ji-Hyun, Kim In-Hyung, Lee Geun-Mo(2005), and Kim In-Ho(2007). The research data collected were computerized using the statistical program SPSS and applied one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis in accordance with analysis purpose of the data and the results showed as follows. First, in terms of differences of teenagers` sports star image according to demographic statistics, boys showed higher than girls, and high school students showed higher than middle school students. Their parents` responses on teens` interest in stars showed approval, neutral, and opposition in order, and, according to economic living standards, upper class, middle class, and lower class in order, and large cities, middle and small cities, and then towns and townships in order according to residential districts. Second, in terms of differences of teens` sports attitudes according to demographic statistics, boys showed higher than girls, and high school students were higher than middle school students. Their parents` responses on teens` interest in stars showed approval, neutral, and opposition in order, and according to economic living standards upper class, middle class, and lower class in order, and large city, middle and small city, and then towns and townships in order according to residential districts. Third, in terms of teens` sports attitude building in accordance with sports star image, overall, external image gave the biggest influences, and then sports performance image, enterprising image, and moral image in order.
