The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between team commitment and loyalty of sports spectators related to professional sports team. Especially this study was to analyze based on the demographic characteristics of sports spectators. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, totalling 1,013 spectators who attend professional baseball(275), soccer(251), basketball(272) and volleyball(215) were surveyed. Data were collected by using convenience sampling method. In data analysis, exploratory factor analysis, internal consistency reliability were performed to confirm the unidimensionality and reliability of the scale through SPSS 12.0 and two-way ANOVA, χ2, regression analysis to test the difference and influence based on the characteristics of professional sports spectators. The result were as follows; First, team commitment had a difference in accordance with the demographic variables. Particularly, there was interaction effect in accordance with age and sports type. Second, there was significantly difference of watching rate by age. Third, commitment with professional sports team(baseball. soccer, basketball, and volleyball) had significantly effect on team loyalty. Consequently this study valued the role of demographic variables for building professional sports loyalty.
