This study closely examined the effects of rowing coaches` leadership behavior types on players` satisfaction, cohesion, and self-confidence. The direct survey was carried out by questionnaire targeting totally 120 rowing players nationwide, whom were selected by the non-probability cluster random sampling. Its response results were performed the frequency analysis. As a result of discussing its results through verifying the total, the following conclusions were obtained. First, as for relationship with leadership behavior type and encouragement satisfaction, cohesion, and self-confidence, it was indicated that there is significant relationship between the sub-factors for leadership behavior type and the sub-factors for encouragement satisfaction and between the sub-factors for cohesion and the sub-factors for self-confidence. Second, as for the influence of leadership behavior type and encouragement satisfaction upon cohesion, the leadership behavior type and the sub-factor for encouragement satisfaction, which have the greatest influence upon cohesion in social individual, include the e and the sub-factor for encouragemtype and the factor for sociale smutual satisfaction. The leadership behavior type and the sub-factor for encouragement satisfaction, which have the greatest influence upon cohesion in social group, include the social-ership bncouragemtype and the factor for sociale smutual satisfaction. The leadership behavior type and the subfactor for encouragement satisfaction, which have the greatest influence upon cohesion in task individual, include the training & instruction ncouragemtype and the factor for task satisfaction. It was indicated that the leadership behavior type and the sub-factor for encouragement satisfaction, which have the greatest influence upon cohesion in task group, include the democratic ncouragemtype and the factor for task satisfaction. Third, as for the influence of leadership behavior type and encouragement satisfaction upon self-confidence, the leadership behavior type, which has the greatest influence upon self-confidence in proving ability, is the factor for positively compensational behavior. The leadership behavior type, which has the greatest influence upon coaching ability and self-confidence in physical/mental support, is the factor for training & instruction behavior.
