This article presupposes the human reality that people are conditioned in a capitalism society where they closely live together but not socially interact to each other. It claims that human survival is impossible unless interconnectedness of human life is appreciated and seriously explored. It further attempts to show that human communication is strengthened when playfulness is made possible in human life. Differences between game and play are explored through the lens of George Herbert Mead`s symbolic interactionism, and in result, play is claimed to be a ``praxis`` of life where creativity and imagination are possible. This article then shows a close relationship between God`s playfulness and creativity. A vignette is presented in order to support the possibility of human growth and communication through playfulness. Finally, this article suggests some theological and psychological implications of playfulness in order to promote human communication.
