This paper begins by providing an overview of bike sharing programs. It did not fit into the domestic environment, because that was lack of publicity. In order to emphasize the role of the public bicycle, this case study summarized the evolution of the public bicycle system, and introduced the Changwon city public bicycle system. Changwon city was the first city starting the public bicycle system. 300,000 people are Accumulated members are 300,000 and 5 million users have used at least once in a year. Because the traffic share rate is 6.9%, public bicycle system is entering the maturity stage. However, the system requires additional efforts on design improvements, linkage with public transportation system, cost reduction, advertizement in order to expand the public bicycle operations.
