The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of perceived risk toward post-acceptance behavior in cloud computing services. Based on the relevant literature reviews, this study posits the four characteristics of economic risk, technological risk, performance risk, and privacy risk as perceived risks in cloud computing services. In this study, we propose a research model based on the Post Acceptance Model (PAM) by Bhattacherjee (2001). 412 users of the cloud computing services survey data have been collected and analyzed using the structural equation model method.
The results of this study are summarized as follows. Firstly, perceived risk had a positive influence upon satisfaction and trust,; however, perceived risk did not have a significant influence upon perceived usefulness. Secondly, perceived usefulness and trust had a positive influence upon satisfaction. Thirdly, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, and trust had a positive relationship to continued use intention. Based on these results, managerial and theoretical implications are discussed, and further research issues are suggested.
