A applied dyed-arts is often produced by mass production. In this case, the production line measure colors of a applied dyed-arts for color matching by subjective naked eye, but this estimation method get to generate considerable error. so, they apply some instruments as detoctor to suppliment this problem but, such instrumental color measurement is suitable only even dyed-fabric and its measurement part is a very small. But, because most of applied dyed-fabric have a uneven appearance by various art technics, it is necessary that they have suitable estimation method. Digital image analysis have merit which is free from limit of sample size and detection part, and it is possible to measure various parts about one sample freely. So, purpose of this study is to supplement problems of subjective or objective estimation for uneven dyed-fabric. Indigo dyed denim before and after washing is selected as sample for this study and they was washed by enzyme and stone after dyeing. Used image processing technics was monochrome and color multi-level gray scale image. Color of dyed-fabric was measured by hue, saturation, intensity values and, pattern effects of blue and white was estimated by dimension fractionation. As a results, it was possible to measure hue, saturation and intensity values of color by HSI color model of image analysis, and to find a mixed two color proportion.
