A industrial dyeing arts is created by various technics. And one of the technics is wax resist dyeing. But such technic often make it`s color change, and discoloration get the value of the arts to lower. Most of creators use various carriers with dyestuff during dyeing, or treat the arts with fixing agent as aftertreatment, or heat it with stream for color`s stabilization. But such operations are complex, a little difficult and have need of times. So, end of this study is to find how wax resist dyeing influence on the arts color. For this study, the type of used fabrics are a cotton and silk one, and the type of dyestuffs are direct, reactive, acid dyes. And paraffin and beeswax are used as wax resister. The results are follows; Dyeing affinity(K/S value) of wax treated sample is increased in contrast with standard sample, and color itself is not change but is moved to red side a little. And the lightness and chroma is lowerd a little. So, wax treatment on the dyeing arts generated remarkable color difference(ΔE^*). The factors influenced on color difference were the numbers of wax spread, wax spread method, daylight irradiation yes or no, daylight irradiation times and so on. In conclusion, it is showed that wax resist dyeing made arts color change, and made color`s change delay under the daylight.
