This study aims to provide matching fashion image through multi-dimensional analysis of personal image. For this study, questionnaire survey was conducted with females in the age of 20s. Statistical analyses such as factor analysis, variance analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed with responses from the questionnaire survey. As a result of the categorization for the multi-dimensional analysis, five physical images, five sensory images, six sensitive images and six fashion images were identified. Analysis revealed that there was a significant relationship between physical, sensory and sensitive images and fashion images. In particular it was suggested that sensory image had the strongest affect on fashion images except for attractive and girlish fashion images that were mainly affected by sensitive images. It was also revealed that multi-dimensional personal images were significantly related to each profile of fashion images: a fine, alluring and intensive personal image associated with the attractive fashion image; more plain and alluring personal image with the urban fashion image; a relatively rustic, plain and calm personal image with simple fashion image; more casual personal image with active fashion image; an complicated personal image with multi-cultural fashion image; a bright and cute image with girlish fashion image; a dark and strong image with masculine fashion image. This study provides an insight that successful fashion image making is stemmed from not only physical image but also multi-dimensional analysis of personal image including sensory and sensitive images.
