Report Errors
Due to the recent popularization of smart devices it is common with low-vision who multimedia enjoyment. The TTS is an essential function to them. However, the domestic situation has been overlooked. Although the study should provide the function of audio guidance. In case of providing audio guidance with multimedia contents simultaneously, we need a valid guideline of audio margin between two sounds and optimum amount of auditory information. The primary purpose of this study is to find the valid sound margin between multimedia contents and audio guidance. The other purpose is to find out the optimum amount of auditory information. We conducted user test under different tasks. The first task was set according to audio form (Verbal/Non-verbal) and types (Contents/ Guidance). The other is organized for two groups which are ordinary and low-vision people. We found that there are differences of audio guidance level according to the form of multimedia contents. And we also found that the optimum amount of auditory information should be provided.
