This study was intended to systematize the attribute and property of polysemy of individual verbs to contribute to the study of meanings of words. To achieve this research purpose, various meanings of verbs were explored by analyzing example sentences of a corpus with the verb ‘sso-da¹.’ On the basis of the analysis of the corpus, this study managed to suggest that meanings of the verb ‘sso-da’ be classified into eight categories such as “operation,” “transportation,” and “transmission,” to name a few. Furthermore, in accordance with the classification, this study systematize attributes of the verb such as basic meaning for each concept name, temporal feature in the case, event type, argument and case frame. For example, after setting the name of concept based on these efforts, attributes such as basic meaning for each concept name, temporal feature in the case, event type, argument and case frame were analyzed. The findings of this study can be utilized as materials that complement existing dictionary meaning skills and may contribute to the study of the construction of the verb meaning network or language education.
