The purpose of this paper is to understand thoroughly the Korean honorifics and Internet communication language. Concretely, we analyzed the characteristics and strategies of the Korean honorifics in Internet communication language. We dealt with the usage variation of the honorifics that appeared according to the factors such as internet users` age, generation and sex, and the factors such as characteristics of internet bulletin board and messages. The data were collected from the photo gallery of `dcinside`(www.dcinside.com) among digital camera sites. This paper is composed of five chapters. We analyzed the hearer honorifics in the second chapter. In chapter three, we dealt with the usage of terms of address. In chapter four, we interpreted the strategic use of `hao speech level`(하오체). In the process of this analysis, we were able to know evidently the usage of the Korean honorifics on internet, which is important space for Korean speakers to communicate and interact. It was confirmed that the peculiar usage of the honorifics that is different from the usual language is used on Internet bulletin board. Then it was confirmed that `haengja`(？자) as a new term of address appears and `hao speech level` is revived splendidly. As we analyze another data of internet bulletin board from now on, we will be able to understand widely and generally the Korean honorifics in internet communication language.
