Recently, it has been evident that the upsurge in single families has lead to an increase in the purchase of convenience food. Under these circumstances, it is very important for food distributors to identify the most influential factor in customer behavior and find effective strategies in convenience food distribution service.
Precedent studies have determined that service quality has a positive influence on customer behavior but there are insufficient studies related to distribution service quality of convenience food.
This paper used Revised Important-Performance Analysis and Some implications can be derived, as follows. First, the company has to offer various HMR products. Second, the company should pursue mass-customization to reduce cost and improve service. Third, the company should expand its communication strategy to increase responsiveness capability and efficient customer relationship management. Finally, the company should implement Local foods strategy.
