The government is in the process of supplying with National Rental House for Low-Income Class. There are few studies on National Rental House; especially adapted to the Local Small City. Although there are the rules of supplying with National Rental House when creating Industrial Complex over a certain size, especially there are very few studies on National Rental House within Industrial Complex. This study is covered with appropriate supply plans for National Rental House, creating Industrial Complex in Local Small City, Jinju. Joengchon General Industrial Complex in Jinju is the first area which supplies with National Rental House within Gyeognam Industrial Complex.
Occupants of Local Rental House were interested in moving into bigger houses than current houses. It is significantly different from the Metropolitan because only 22.8% of survey respondents wants to move into bigger houses. This result shows that Housing Conditions, Housing Cost Burden, and Locational Differences of Residence have an impact on occupants’ decisions. There are notable differences among income level and living floor area in the aspect of the intention to move into national rental house. The lower income people gain, the smaller space they want to live in, the more intention to move into national rental house they have. The average of living floor area where survey respondents’ hope is 92.4㎡, and this is not only higher than 70.7㎡, the current living floor area but also quite higher than under 60㎡, supplied National Rental House so far. The main reason why survey respondents want to live in national rental house is Low Housing Expense(77.2%). On the contrary to this, the reason why they don’t want to live in national rental house is that calculation of rental fee and supporting plan that matched the Characteristics of Low-Income household does not carry out.(30.1% of survey respondents replied.)
