The United Nations has designated 2012 the International Year of Co-operatives. This paper explores the Peformance, Idea, Prospect of korean consumer’s co-operative movement in the light of examining the role of co-operative as alternative to neo-liberlism and economic crisis. The economic business of consumer’s co-operaitve which place emphasis on direct dealing of eco-friendly agriculture product has grew by leaps and bounds. It makes a coutribution to price stabilization and expansion of eco-friendly agriculture. A marked feature in the idea of korean consumer’s co-operative movement is Life Thought, but also All consumer’s co-operative organization didn’t share Life Thought. The importance of Consumer’s co-operative will grow up for Relieving shock of economic crisis and unstability of world food regime. The long-term task for korean consumer’s co-operative is contruction of co-operative association based on cooperation between indivisual co-coperatives.
