The aim of this paper is to analyze and investigate a variety of violation cases of conversational maxims. Conversational maxims are very important factors and are kept in communicating each other. Conversational Maxims in Cooperative Principle are suggested by Grice(1975) and Levinson(1985). There are four steps in Conversational maxims in English. They are "The Maxim of Quality", "The Maxim of Quantity", "The Maxim of Relevance", and "The Maxim of Manner". All of these maxims are important factors in conversation therefore people have to keep these maxims correctly. However, in an actual conversational situation, many people violate these maxims in unconsciousness. If these maxims are violated, Conversational implicature is generated in communicating and their communication breaks. The violation of conversational maxims is common among people of the same culture, generation, society, etc. They know the violation of conversational maxims and understand the intention of speakers clearly. Although their knowledge about the violation of conversational maxims, the violation is occurred in their communication. The order of the violation of conversational maxims is the maxim of quality, the maxim of quantity, the maxim of relevance, and the maxim of manner. Nowadays, many young people violate the conversational maxims because they use the cellphone, SNS, e-mail, etc. They violate the conversational maxims in sending and receiving e-mail in SNS, the space of SNS is limited and they communicate each other through SNS without an inerval. In conclusion, the conversational maxims are important and kept in communicating each other. To keep the conversational maxims, people have to be polite and take into consideration the position of other people. The conversational maxims are a very important accelerant in our lives.
