This study aimed to investigate how self-discrepancy and well-being of college student determine career indecision as mediators. For this study, 588 college students(270 men & 318 Women) in Busan answered the questionnaire set about self-discrepancy, career indecision, and well-being. Those collected data were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 which could make work basic data structure model validly and AMOS 22.0. Structural equation modeling indicated that there were the partial mediating effect of career indecision in the relationship between self-discrepancy and well-being. The results were as followed. First, self-discrepancy as general variable for predicting well-being had impacted on well-being directly. It indicated high self-discrepancy of college students decreased well-being. Second, career indecision mediated the relationship between self-discrepancy and well-being. It indicated self-discrepancy as general variable for predicting well-being impacts on well-being directly and career indecision as variable reflecting the age characteristics. This conclusion provides the significant implications that we should consider the level of both self-discrepancy and career indecision when we prepare intervention strategy for college students to increase well-being.
