This study emphasizes that there is no meaningful tourism in Latin America without a thorough understanding of the Aboriginal people, because indigenous people is an important factor for understanding politics and society and culture of Latin America which impacts their tourism.
In this paper, we analyze the current Latin American tourism products that exist in our country, taking into account the fact that not enough is understood of the entire product in Latin America consisting only of the natural landscape to focus on the identity of indigenous peoples and cultures seen in Latin America history. Significance is placed on a high proportion of indigenous people in Guatemala, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Mexico to provide a basis for the development of tourism products in Latin America.
This study was developed based on the theoretical limitations investigated, but is a judgement based on the current status of the Latin American tourism product comparison. This would lead to continuous new product development through in-depth survey conducted by potential customers.
