Nowadays the number of multi-cultural children is increasing very fast, but the preparation of our homes, society, and schools is still insufficient. The multi-cultural children have trouble communicating with their friends, and are experiencing various inadaptability including learning disorder, hyperactivity disorder, being ostracizing, and refusal to attend the school, and the role of the mothers who are responsible for upbringing of their multi-cultural children is very important.
However, multi-cultural mothers are often stressed out and lose confidence in the role as mothers, because they don"t know the way how the Korean children are brought up, and because they have not enough information regarding it. The point can affect the multi-cultural children directly or indirectly. So the objective of this study is to figure out the trend of the effect of the family relationship of multi-cultural mothers and dual-culture stress on the upbringing of their children, and to figure out the specific factors and the relationship between the factors and the behaviors of upbringing. And also, the objective of this study is suggest a data which will be used for multi-cultural mothers" positive upbringing of their children, and to provide the fundamental data which can help the multi-cultural mothers and their children succeed in adapting to Korean society.
