The purposes of this study were to examine the sub-factors of wellness, the developmental trajectory of wellness, the influence on wellness of individual and parent related factors in school-aged children. There were 1,821 subjects who participated in the five times of the Korean Youth Panel Survey. Data was analyzed with correlations, cross-lagged modeling and latent growth modeling. The main findings were as follows. First, wellness of school-aged children is decreased with the passage of time. Second, results of the investigation of the relationships between the sub-factors of wellness, were stable lasting over time. Third, cognitive wellness appeared to affect physical wellness and communal wellness. Fourth, parenting affected the initial level and change in wellness, the initial level and change in wellness had an effect on school grade and life satisfaction. This study is significant to examine the relationship of sub-factors of wellness, the developmental trajectory of wellness, the influence of parent-related and individual factors. This results were confirmed that it can help the child to reach the optimum height for each area of the health wellness.
