공간을 구성하는 다양한 요소의 상관성 도출을 위한 기초연구로, 색채와 형태의 2가지 변인을 대상으로 영향도 평가실험을 진행하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 20개의 평가어휘를 대상으로 요인분석을 진행한 결과, 57.34%의 설명력을 보이는 것으로 분석되었다. 제 Ⅰ요인은 22.48%의 기여율을 보이며, 평가에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인으로 [편안한·부드러운] 이미지를 나타내며, 제 Ⅱ요인은 17.68%의 기여율을 보이며 [현대적인·세련된]의 이미지를 보이고 있다. 제 Ⅲ요인은 17.18%의 기여율을 보이며, [화려한·강렬한] 이미지를 보이는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 색상 및 공간 형태에 따른 영향 정도를 정량적으로 분석하기 위하여 중회귀 분석을 실시하여 평가변인별 영향도를 분석한 종합적인 결과, 형태보다 색채에 의한 영향이 큰 것으로 분석되었으며, 추후 공간을 구성하는 다양한 요소간의 상관성에 관한 연구를 진행하고자 한다.
