As the uncertainty of corporate environment increases, response capability for the environmental uncertainty and change is regarded as a essential factor and As regards this capability, social demand for the government agency is growing consistently. For this reason, the government agencies are at the pains of improving competitiveness, and this study regarded organizational agility as core competency and developed organizational agility diagnostic model. Recently studies for the organizational agility have flourished, but no one have researched organizational agility for the government agency. So this research developed organizational agility diagnostic model based on past studies and maturity model, and on this model examined the organizational agility of the Korea Post which provide postal services.
Based on the process which Nunnally(1978) suggested, diagnostic items were developed and diagnostic model consisted of these items. The result showed that the level of organizational agility is second one, agility basics. Specifically abilities of employee and manager are relatively good, but structure of organization is relatively poor.
