Report Errors
The purpose of this research was to development a parent education group program for positive parenting of the alcoholic’s wife. The program consisted of 8 sessions, in which mothers were educated to understand themselves and family, communication skill and positive discipline skills. After receiving the program intervention, the experiment group was compared with the control group at the pre and post of program. the results showed that the parent education group program was effective in improving the degree of positive parenting including mother’s communication, interaction with their children and parenting efficacy. In conclusion, this study is very meaningful in terms of applying the positive discipline to the development of a parenting education group program for alcoholic’s wife and confirming effect.
