The purpose of this study is to assign weights of sustainability assessment criteria of urban sustainability applicable to urban development beyond 330,000㎡. The assessment criteria include socioeconomic sustainability as well as physical, environmental sustainability and consist of seven fields(16 subsections, 47 criteria); smart energy, transportation, society, water, waste, land design and envrionment. Analytic Hierarchy Process is conducted to decide weight between 47 items. The results of the AHP show that conserve natural resources such as existing green field, habitats, water space while build nature-friendly space such as carbon-neutral wood, carbon-neutral park and it is fundamental principle to set conditions to achieve sustainability by natural technique in early development phase other than adopt artificial new technology.
