Recently, various government organizations and local governments have recently been providing related activities and subjects which can be of interest of the people of our nation, in the form of infographics for easier understanding that leads to smooth communication with the citizens, and the usefulness of the same is also expected to continue to increase. This study classified motion infographics contents and method of development, design elements, and the presentation technique for the purposes of analysis and studied the plan of motion infographics for effective provision of information.
Through the result of analysis it was evident that development method of contents were applied to increase the degree of understanding in accordance with the subject and goal which must be conveyed. In addition, it was also evident that there were no significant differences in presentation method of elements and the motion technique which make up the interface. However, there were instances in which effectiveness of information transmission decreased including, when there was inconsistency in the color or graphic presentation, awkward sentence connections in subtitle or narration leading to incorrect transmission of the meaning, cases in which the minimum time for viewers to read the subtitle has not been taken into consideration, cases in which inherent identity of the organization has not been reflected, and in cases in which it lacked certain degree of completeness in the graphic.
In order to increase the usefulness of the motion infographics, it must consist of choosing the appropriate method of development for structured contents, organic harmony of interface elements with completeness, as well as utilization of appropriate technique must all be realized. Based on this study, we anticipate attempts at various designs that reflect the identity of each organization for the motion infographics design at public institutions serving to provide various information to the people of this nation.
