Purpose: The Urban regeneration paradigm has shifted from a large-scale redevelopment to a small-scale community based renewal to support environmental, cultural, economic and social sustainability of existing residents. In a given context, there has been continuous effort taken by the government and much research conducted to promote urban regeneration projects in Korea. However, such research tends to focus more on policy improvements rather than practical technology and its application. Therefore, the aim of this research is to derive practical low-cost·green technologies which can be used in dilapidated areas to improve their residential environment. Method: To achieve a given objective, the research process consists of three steps. ①The concept of low-cost·green technologies for neighborhood regeneration has evolved from literature review and case studies. ②A total of 25 low-cost·green technologies are selected and defined based on the T-Test Analysis results derived from in-depth interviews·surveys with experts. ③Then conducted quantitative and qualitative analysis to provide solutions(prioritize applicable technologies) respecting the local conditions of Ami·Chojang. Result: The research findings indicated that each regeneration area is different, with its own distinct problems and potentials. In this regard, the research focused on Ami·Chojang, one of the dilapidated areas in Busan where neighborhood regeneration is taking place, to identify specific regional needs and appropriate solution.
